504 PointsWhy is a NameError prompting saying my "yes" is not defined?
I did my code a bit differently than Craig's example but I dont see why my code would not work unless something is fundamentally wrong.
Prompt user if they want to proceed. Y/N?
should_proceed = input("Do you want to proceed? Y/N ") should_proceed = should_proceed.lower()
If they want to proceed.
# Print out to the screen "SOLD!" to confirm purchase #TODO: Gather credit card info and process it. if should_proceed == yes: print("SOLD!")

44,807 PointsTry changing yes
to "yes"
so that it is a string and not a variable.
