Why is my code only hiding the paragraph and not the entire div?

I don't understand why my code is not working, I think it's exactly the same as Guil's.

Hi Eric, I found the answer.You did a mistake when you have selected your div.When using querySelector and you want to select the class of your div, you must put "." .I mean:document.querySelector(".list");

Please give me a best answer if it answer to your question.
