12,151 PointsWhy is the "lexical" name of the project "accounts_projects", instead of "employees_projects"?
At around 6:30, Hampton has to specify the name of the table using the :join symbol since it defaults to accounts_projects, not "employees_projects" as he specified in his migration.
Why is it defaulting to accounts_projects? Since Employee inherits from Account, does Rails just go to the top of the inheritance and select that name?
Also, why does it default to "accounts_projects" instead of "projects_accounts"? It's not entirely relevant for this video because he has to change the name anyways, but that got me into trouble with a project I've been working on, and I don't know why the default is one way or the other.
Thanks
