Smiles aren't always externally declared. Jason may reserve his smiles as an internal variable.

e.g. global char* smile vs. char* smile;

Perhaps if you tell a good joke you can dereference Jason's smile (.e.g. &smile).

I totally agree! I speed up Jason and Nick to at least 1.75 speed :-D

I like Jason as an instructor. Something about his voice reminds me of Mr. Rogers. He's not a cheerleader. He's an instructor. There's no need for him to smile. Be you, Jason!

Sarah Augustine & Jason Seifer Indeed, I'd much rather receive the information that I need in a clear, concise way than have someone that acts a certain way. I use to work for Starbucks and they always said, "Put your personal life at the door and be 'all smiles all the time' or we'll fire you." I hated that fakeness, and I'm glad Jason is able to be authentically him: Jason the Treehouse Instructor.

Thats the thing! Jason usually smiles, so hence the question i suppose. Jason is authentic because of the way he is, and for me, he usually smiles. Like in the treehouse-show :D Too sad they ened it :(

Iv looked at Zac Gordon, and hes different than other teachers. Same as others :) Every teacher is different here, its nice.
