Why isn't task one passing? I have literally done everything right on this program.

I have spent way too long on this

app.js
var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?");
if (answer.toLowerCase() === "javascript") {
  alert("You are correct");
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

I believe this particular challenge doesn't address your use of .toLowerCase

This will pass because the strings match the questions exactly:

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');

if (answer === 'JavaScript') {
  alert('You are correct');
} else {
  alert('JavaScript is the best language!');
}
