Why it doesn't work?

Not sure why it doesn't work

slices.py 
def first_4(iterable):
    return iterable[:4]

def first_and_last_4(iterable):
    return first_4(iterable) + iterable[-4:]

def odds(itera):
    return itera[::2]

You are very close. The third task ask for the odd indexes: 1, 3, 5, etc. Using [::2] returns the even indexes.

Hint: the slice notation is [start, stop, step]. What might start be set at to get the odd instead of the even indexes?
