why my button doesnt work?

This is my code... public class FunFacts extends Activity { private FactBook mFactBook = new FactBook(); @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.activity_fun_facts);

You need to type R.id in findViewById(), rather than just id.
