why my code isn't correct?

gallery li:nth-child (4n){

clear:left; }

Gallery is not a valid selector in css. You need to use # (e.g. #gallery) when selecting id's.

The # is likely there. it's treated as an h1 using markdown syntax when the css isn't posted properly in a code block.

You have a space between nth-child and (4n)

Close that up and you should be fine.
