Why Nick add min-height ?

Hi. I don't understand the idea of adding property min-height: 20px when later we add background-size: 20px 20px;

It's because you don't want the image to go below 20px

Ok but when we define background size image will be exactly 20x20. There is constant size. Why we define min. height in this situation?

Lukas raises a good point. When the size of the image is specifically defined and not a percentage, then why would you need to set a min or a max?
