Inside the while loop he uses 'guess = getRandomNumber(upper);' why not just use the global variable the above was assigned to so it reads, 'guess = randomNumber;'

36,305 PointsThink of this program as a Pick any number trick a magician might play on you.
The global randomNumber variable is the number you picked at the beginning of the trick/program. The magician can't know that number they have to guess it.
When the while loop runs guess is assigned the returned randomly generated number from the getRandomNumber() function.
If guess was set to equal randomNumber it would alway pass on the second iteration.
