Why Treehouse python interpreter find my function covers()? Am I doing something worng?

    course = {"Python Basics": {"Python", "functions", "variables","booleans", "integers", "floats","arrays", "strings", "exceptions","conditions", "input", "loops"}, "Java Basics": {"Java", "strings", "variables","input", "exceptions", "integers","booleans", "loops"},"PHP Basics": {"PHP", "variables", "conditions","integers", "floats", "strings","booleans", "HTML"},"Ruby Basics": {"Ruby", "strings", "floats","integers", "conditions","functions", "input"}}
    rt = []
    for idx, st in course.iteritems():

You are given COURSES and told not to change it, so you dont need courses = ..... Also, there is is no iteritems().

def covers(arg):
    rt = []
    for idx, st in COURSES.items():
        if st & arg:
            rt.append(idx)
    return rt
