People know how to download and run apps. It just seems a pointless step stretched out too long, like filler.
could have been mentioned in the first video for less than 30 seconds in a single sentence: "You will need to download and Install Android Studio from the Web."

20,207 PointsI think Ben Jakuben made a couple of good points in the video, including going through the Android developer site at http://developer.android.com, as well as the fact that you may want to download the provided ZIP file instead of going to the developer site because it will be exactly the same as what's used in the videos.
For many of us, this step is really simple, but it's a good quick run-through. It's also nice that each platform's installation steps are kept in separate videos so the forum posts are separated by platform for those of us looking for help if we get stuck.
