Why would this not work?

this would work fine right?

} while ( secret !== "sesame" )
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Secret is undefined on the second loop. You'll need to declare it outside the do...while loop. Like this

let secret;

do {
    secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
} while ( secret !== "sesame" )
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

And use let instead of const.
