HTML How to Make a Website HTML First Use HTML Elements

In the lesson it ask to type <! DOCTYPE html> but when I click Recheck work I get the Bummer notice.

Looks like it’s just a typo. The doctype should be written as <!DOCTYPE html> no space

Whitespaces make a huge difference in how your code will run. It is just as important as exclamations, commas, periods, and semi-colons.

I removed the space and all is good.
