Writing list-style: none; on #gallery doesn't take away the bullet points

I have to write that on the more specific #gallery li if I don't the bullet points stay there I'ts not like in the video

are you thinking of "list-style-type: none;" ?

What I mean is that in the video writing on " #gallery " list-style: none; eliminates the bullet points but I have to put list-style: none; on " #gallery li "
