iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Foundation Framework NSDictionary

wrong value

On one of the test it ask to make a mutable dictionary with a string of "year" and "1969". I put:

NSDictionary *album = @{ @"title":@"Abbey Road", @"artist":@"The Beatles" };
NSMutableDictionary *albumMutable = [NSMutableDictionary dictionaryWithDictionary:album];
[albumMutable setObject:@1969 forKey:@"year"];

But it says that the value of "year "is wrong, how is that possible? I even tried coping and pasting the value.

Hi Shawn,

The task is asking for a string but you've given it an integer, simply use a string literal like the below and it will pass.

[albumMutable setObject:@"1969" forKey:@"year"];
