iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Introduction to Objective-C Inheritance

Yes

I've declared the property 'ruby" in Ruby.h and in Bling.h I've added the @class Ruby and wrote '@property (nonatomic)Ruby *ruby;' but its asking me not to forget @end.

Gem.h
@interface Gem : NSObject
@end
Ruby.h
@interface Ruby : Gem

@property (nonatomic)ruby;

@end
Bling.h
@interface Bling : NSObject
@class Ruby;

@property (nonatomic, strong)Ruby *ruby;

@end

Hi Alain,

You're almost there, in your Ruby class you don't need to declare a property called ruby therefore you can drop that and in your Bling class you have this random declaration @class Ruby; which doesn't need to be there either.

Ruby.h
@interface Ruby : Gem

@end
Bling.h
@interface Bling : NSObject

@property (nonatomic, strong) Ruby *ruby;

@end

Happy coding!
