item.py
# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"

import random

def random_item("table"):
    random_number = random.randint(0,len("table") -1) return random_number = ["table"]

You are so close!!

Just a little more. :grin:

Just two mistakes:

  • :point_right: Why are you surrounding table in quotes? Is table a string?
  • :point_right: Why are you returning random_number = ["table"]? You only need to return table.

I hope this helps! :grin: ~Alex :zap:
