Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java IO

am not sure how to fix this,--error: illegal start of expression public class Introductions. any help would be great.

What does this error mean can I fix it in the future easier?

IO.java
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
public class Introductions {

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        Scanner scan = new Scanner(System.in);
        // Welcome to the Introductions program! Your code goes below here
      System.out.print("what is your name: ");
      String firstName = scan.nextLine();
      // thisIsAnExampleOfCamelCasing
        System.out.printf("Hello my name is %s\n", firstName);
        System.out.printf("%s is learning to write Java\n", firstName);

  }
}

The challenge checker automatically wraps your code inside a class and method (or provides it as part of the starting code) so you don't need to create the class or the main() method. Because you're inside a method body already declaring a class like that isn't allowed, hence the error.

You just need to type the code that goes inside.
