create a NEW rule that targets the span element iside .intro

Hi, first, take off the ()from span in your css: .intro { font-size:1.25em; line-height:1.6; } .intro span { font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; }

Hey Vasiliki, you don't need (), just add space between .intro and the span tag, it will work.

Classes you select with a dot in css, like .title

ID's you select with # hashtag, like #top

Tags you select with just the tag name, like p or div or span
