3 Techdegree questions

Q1: What if you followed a a track in TreeHouse but you were broke AND couldn't pay for the TECHDEGREE monthly subscription and decide to go for something lower than that like (Pro, Basic) Subscriptions And finished the track. Would TreeHouse give you the TECHDEGREE certificate. despite that you payed most of the time?>

Q2: What if you payed normally for a regular subscription like (Pro, Basic) And when the track is almost going to end. then you shifted to TECHDEGREE. Would you still get the TECHDEGREE Certificate?.

Q3: Can TreeHouse regular subscriptions like (Pro, Basic) enough to get you a job?

Thank guys Please respond as soon as possible. Good luck guys on your coding journey

In answer to Q1 and Q2, the Tracks and the Techdegree are different. The biggest difference is that you need to submit projects for review as part of the Techdegree, this is not available on a track.

In answer to Q3, yes the subscription could definitely help get you a job, but I don't think it would be enough to say that you have a subscription and have learned all about Web Development for example.

The biggest thing is having projects that you can show people, this is where the tech degree can help as it revolves around projects. You could still come up with your own project challenges that you can use as examples.

With the tech degree you get a wide range of projects to complete and have others working on them at the same time, each project having its own dedicated slack channel where you talk to other students.

Overall I would do what is right for you, one good option for getting started with projects for free is something like JavaScript 30 Day Challenge from Wes Bos. Some great challenging projects in here and free!
