"Absolute" function not working. [Python for File Systems]

I am on Task two for the absolute function program.

It simply says "Bummer! Try again!" but I can't seem to find the error in here... Can somebody please give a hand? Thanks! :smile:

Happy coding! :zap: ~Alex

absolute.py
import os

def absolute(path, root):
    if os.path.abs(path):
        return path
    else:
        return root + path

The function you wish to call is os.path.isabs() not ".abs".

Thanks :)
