Python Object-Oriented Python Advanced Objects Dream Car

Add __strAdd a _str_ method

Add a str method to the DreamCar class. In the method, return a string that states the dream car's make and model. The string should look like this: 'My dream car is a Ford Mustang

dream_car.py
class DreamCar:
    def __init__(self, make, model):
        self.make = make
        self.model = model
    # insert your code here
    def __init__str(self.make, self.model):
        return 'My dream car is a ford Mustand'

I have figured out the problem:

  1. just pass 'self' as the parameter of str
  2. remove init, you don't need to initialize the attributes.
  3. In the return statement, you have to mention the Brand name(self.make), and the model of the car(self.model).

def str(self): return "My dream car is a {} {}.".format(self.make, self.model)

This is the answer.

class DreamCar:
    def __init__(self, make, model):
        self.make = make
        self.model = model
    def __str__(self):
        return "My dream car is a {} {}.".format(self.make,self.model)
