9,455 PointsYes, both background properties that you have written are the same and are totally valid. Here you can see the general shorthand property from which you can choose what you need:
background: bg-color bg-image position/bg-size bg-repeat bg-origin bg-clip bg-attachment initial|inherit;
And your code looks like this:
background: bg-image position/bg-size;
which is correct.
