bash: sudo: command not found.

I cannot use command sudo to do anything for example if i do sudo apt-get update. It gives me error.

Where are you entering this command? The "console playground" used in the console foundations course is the only place I'm aware of where you can use it, other than on your own Linux system.

What do you mean by console playground and I am using this command at one of the treehouse workspace

I was speaking of the companion tool used in the Console Foundations course.

I don't think the regular workspaces have a "sudo" command, but I would not expect it to be needed in any courses that use them. Can you provide a link the course page you are working with?
