Beginning Javascript or Front End Web Development: Which track to complete first?

So I'm currently in the process of completing the digital literacy track, and after that I plan to do both of the tracks mentioned above. The only question is which do I do first? I'm planning on becoming a web developer in a couple of years after I graduate from college, but I want to know which track is more beneficial to start with rather than which will help me the most, since I'll be doing both anyways?

Thank you in advance for any and every response. Always appreciated.

Hello Griffin,

Both courses have a lot in common. When you complete a piece of a track like css: layout technicus it's also completed in the beginning Javascript track. So I will sugest to start with Front End Web Development first, because this is the shorter track of both. When you finished it, you will see a lot of the javascript course is alreade completed to only not the javascript part. A short tip look to the hours remaining of the Javascript course these will go down, when there is a subject in both tracks

Awesome. Forgot to check courses before asking haha. Thanks!

In both tracks you'll learn JavaScript but you would probably be better off starting with the Front End Web Development track as it also teaches you HTML and CSS skills. You also learn some JS in the Front End Web Development Track but its on a more basic level. More importantly though in the Front End Web Development Track you'll learn how to apply the JavaScript you learn to the websites you create more so than in the Beginning JavaScript Track. The dedicated JS tracks will teach you more complicated concepts of JS.

So I'd say start with the Front End Web Development Track and do Beginning JavaScript after that.
