Below role, create a new variable named msg that combines the firstName, lastName and role variables to create a string

const firstName = "Francis";
const lastName = "Paige";

I can see that in the msg Variable you are putting these ' ' around the firstName, lastName, and role variables. The issue is when you put these ' ', the code understands it not as a variable but as a string, basically a string is text. For example you stored the Francis STRING inside the firstName variable. so remove these ' ' inside the msg variable to fix this issue.

Hello Francisco,

Try this code in your challenge.

const firstName = "Francis";
const lastName = "Paige";
let role = 'developer';
let msg = 'firstName ' + '  ' + 'lastName' + ' ' + 'role';

May I suggest codepen.io to try working on your code. If you see a red circle with an exclamation point, click on it. It will give you a hint where you have gone wrong.

Also try JSLint.com to get some feedback on your code. Both are free.
