Why are my numbers only showing up as on a grayscale?
let html = ''; let red; let green; let blue; let randomRGB; let RGBvalue
for (let i = 1; i <= 1000; i++ ) {
RGBvalue = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256);
randomRGB = rgb( ${RGBvalue}, ${RGBvalue}, ${RGBvalue} )
;
html += <div style="background-color: ${randomRGB}">${i}</div>
;
}
document.querySelector('main').innerHTML = html;

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 19,570 PointsYour code is never setting the red, green, blue variables. So setting rgb() with the same value for r,g,b it is only creating grey. Try this:
let html = '';
let red; let green; let blue; let randomRGB; let RGBvalue
for (let i = 1; i <= 1000; i++) {
red = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256);
green = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256);
blue = Math.floor(Math.random() * 256);
randomRGB = `rgb(${ red }, ${ green }, ${ blue })`;
html += `<div style="background-color: ${randomRGB}">${i}</div>`;
}
document.querySelector('main').innerHTML = html;
