bootRun is taking for ever

bootRun is taking forever, i just gave up on some point, is this normal?

Is it possible that you are looking at the tasks tree mode instead of the text mode? In the tree mode it seems that the bootRun is stuck forever... but if you go the browser your will see that the server is working properly. (Switching between the mode by clicking on the icon just under "giflib [bootRun]", at the upper-left corner of the tab)

Execute the command ./gradlew clean bootRun in your project terminal window
