bug

anyone can fix the bug to help me in this code. i dont know why it is unexpected"(" braces showing and not working properly.

This is not my area but should

fileContents=merge(values,fileContents) have a ; at the end?

It's throwing a fit cause your second function doesn't have a name. (I think there are other errors still that won't pass this challenge, but that's a start.
