Bummer! Did you forget to pass the `firstName` parameter to the printf function?

I simply don't see what I've done wrong here. I have included "firstName" in my code and still it does not let me pass. Thanks for the help!

IO.java
String firstName = console.readLine("What is your first name?  ");
String lastName = console.readLine("What is your last name?  ");
console.printf("First name: ");
console.printf("%s", firstName);

Hi Alexander,

Task 3 is looking for a single printf statement.

If you combine your 2 statements you should have

console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);
