Bummer: Didn't get the right perimeter

Why??? I made the property for the perimeter the exact same ways as the area. One worked and the other did not. What's up with these challenges? The directions are so unclear.

rectangle.py
class Rectangle:
    def __init__(self, width, length):
        self.width = width
        self.length = length

    @property
    def area(self):
        return self.width * self.length

    @property
    def perimeter(self):
        return self.length * 2 + self.width + 2

You are so close: try self.width * 2
