Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings, Variables, and Formatting

Call the printf method on the console object and make it write out "<YOUR NAME> can code in Java!"

I don't know why I keep getting an error?

Name.java
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "Aladin";
Console.printf("Hello my name is %s\n", firstName);

Hi Aladin!

You've got the right idea, just need to make a few minor changes. First, the java.io.Console object that they set up for you has the variable console, with a lowercase c. Also, be sure to print out exactly what they are asking for. In this case, they want the result to be "<YOUR NAME> can code in Java!" which, after substituting in firstName should print: Aladin can code in Java!

Hope that helps!

I believe this has been answered above but I would agree, Console.printf should be console.printf and the outcome should read ;

console.printf("%s can code in Java!\n", firstName);
