getting erro:

Bummer! Check the spelling of your argument to the printf method. Make sure it is printing out what the instructions are asking for.

you want something like

console.printf("%s can code in Java!",firstName);

It's asking you to print "[name-placeholder] can code in Java!" you have not written the full sentence and you do not need to add the < or \ n in it.
