HTML HTML Forms Form Basics Create a Submit Button

Can i get help with challenge 4 of 5 in the create a button element task. Thank you.

This is what I have but it keeps telling me Bummer! You need to add a <button> element inside the <form> element.

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>HTML Forms</title> </head> <body> <form action="index.html" method="post"> <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name"> <textarea id="comment" name="user_comment" > <button>Submit Comment</button> </form> </body> </html>

Sorry, It keeps telling me I need to add a button element inside the form element.

Hi Ceasar,

I have just managed to pass the challenge successfully based on this. I've just edited my answer. Can you check your code matches please?

Thanks

-Rich

Hi Ceasar,

You look to be missing the closing text area tag before the button:

</textarea>

EDIT BASED ON COMMENT: Your final code should look like this:

<form action="index.html" method="post">
<input type="text" id="name" name="user_name">
<textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"></textarea>
<button>Submit Comment</button>
</form>

Thanks

-Rich

Thank You. That worked.

No problem, glad you got it sorted.

I marked Rich Bagley's answer as the correct one. Feel free to change it needed Ceasar Aguilar

Thanks Kevin.
