Can some one please help me?

May be my code is wrong or I am not able to grasp the question.

```$contacts = array(array('Alena Holligan' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com'), array('Dave McFarland' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com'), array('Treasure Porth' => 'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com'), array('Andrew Chalkley' => 'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com') );

Here is my code, but it doesn't  work.

Hi Piyush,

the first part of you answer is correct as you have created multidimensional array. The second part talks about ASSOCIATIVE array, using 'name' as the key. Like:

array( 'name' => 'Alena Holligan' )

I didn't get what you mean by this? I didn't get how to form this kind of array.

Hi, I could have been more descriptive. The first part of the task is good, but the second one should look like this:

$contacts = array(
                  array( name => 'Alena Holligan' ),
                  array( name => 'Dave McFarland' ),
                  array( name => 'Treasure Porth' ),
                  array( name => 'Andrew Chalkley' )
                  );

so when you will want to add another key, like email, you just add a new key with a value:

<?php
$contacts = array(
                  array( name => 'Alena Holligan', email => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com' ), 
etc

This one is not working.

sorry, I forgot to wrap keys with ' so it should be 'name' and 'email'...
