I am not sure what it is asking me to update to

product.py
class Product:
    _price = 0.0
    tax_rate = 0.12

    def __init__(self, base_price):
        self._price = base_price

    @property
    def price(self):
        return self._price + (self._price * self.tax_rate)

    @price.setter
    def price(self):
        self._price = self._price + (self._price * self.tax_rate)

You are close, but there are two errors:

  • the setter method needs to take a value to be used as the new price
  • there is no need to modify the incoming price. Simply set the attribute to the value passed in

Post back if you need more help! Good luck!!
