15,353 Pointslike AAKAR said, your if statement wrong because you are assigning the value of firstExample to secondExample through the use of a single = sign. However as a suggestion, you should use the .equals() method rather than == when dealing with Strings

6,509 PointsIn your if statement, you are using "=", which means you are assigning value to string variable firstExample. You should use "==". It means you are comparing one value with another. You should do this:
if(firstExample == secondExample) { //enter your code here }
