are not modules, they are classes that are within a module (in this case re
). So you still need to import the module. You always want to import one module per line, but you can import multiple classes from the same module on a single line. For example, if we wanted to import the classes MyClass
and MyOtherClass
from the module my_module
we would import them as follows:
from my_module import MyClass, MyOtherClass
In addition, you need to add a blank line after your import statements (every Python script should always end with a newline character, which means when typing the script you would add a final empty line at the end).
