Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 22,660 PointsKeep in mind that the parameter list of a method is part of the method signature. That means that public bool Scan() and public bool Scan(int[] sequence) are not recognized as the same method, which also means one can't override the other.
So to be able to use override in your RepeatDetector class, the Scan method in your base class needs to accept an integer array as a parameter.
