I wonder if Treehouse would be interested in setting up a network of chat rooms for its students and staff.
I'll be interested to hear other opinions about this.

The rest of us have this forum.

33,235 PointsThanks for telling me this. If you're happy with the way things are, that's your prerogative. I'm not complaining but by your own admission, it's exclusive, not inclusive; it's only available to Tech Degree students. I have no problem with that. What I mean (what I should have made plain in my original post) is: How would students feel about an inclusive chat room network that was open to the whole Treehouse community, regardless of membership type?
The forum network is a fantastic place for seeking help, and usually I get great help from other forum users but on a few occasions I've had no reply to some threads I started. Recently I had to wait nearly a week before I got help, and that was from one of the tutors, after I asked Support twice. Usually doesn't mean always. I allow 48 hours; if I don't hear after that time, I ask Support to get someone to help me. It may well be that the course I was on didn't have many takers. I say that because the Questions sections under a lot of the videos for that course were empty.
This is about constructive feedback. It's not an anti-Treehouse rant. I'm not saying "This is bad" or anything like that. I just have an open mind and I believe there's always room for improvement.

6,439 PointsI agree with you Sean. It takes a long time for me to get a response to my questions as well. And sometimes the challenge I do just doesn't work. Either a bug or something else. I also want a chat room where we can ask other Users as well for help or insights on what we did wrong. It sucks when you commit the whole day to learning and you can't because of one problem. We need an open chatroom maybe a Discord Channel
