Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings, Variables, and Formatting

Check Work button is hanging

I am on the first exercise. I type in my code and click the Check Work button. It just hangs with the Working... label.

well your code is fine for the first part of the challenge (obviously). The web pages do occasionally mess up, and the usual steps apply of reloading the page, trying a different browser, or clearing the browser cache (I prefer not to do this). If some part of treehouse isn't working, you can look at the community to see if other people have the same issue as occasionally things do actually go down. Once you rule out the obvious, then maybe email treehouse support. (but they'll likely start with reloading the page etc.)
