whats wrong with this code? I cannot see a problem.
from django.conf.urls import url, include
from . import views
urlpatterns = [
url(r'/', views.WelcomeView.as_view(), name='welcome'),
]
from django.views.generic import View
from django.http import HttpResponse
class WelcomeView(View):
def get(self, request):
return HttpResponse('Welcome I guess')

When specifying the raw string for a url, the trailing / is not included. To guarantee only the root location matches, include the beginning-marker and ending-marker: r'^$'
