class inventory

can someone explain why this doesn't work?

inventory.py 
class Inventory:
    def __init__(self):
        self.slots = []

    def add_item(self, item):
        self.slots.append(item)


class SortedInventory(Inventory):
    def add_item(self, item):
        super().add_item(item)
        self.slots = self.slots.sorted()

You are close, but you just need to sort the items at the end of the function and you can use the sort method to do this, you don't need to save it within the attribute, just call the method on the array and it will be sorted. Feel free to ask any questions and hope this helps!
