CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Selectors ID and Class Selectors

Class selectors

Cannot get beyond Task 3 of 6 in the challenges, no matter what I try, based on what I think is correct. All the 'answers' I've attempted tell me that Task 1 is now wrong, so I have to go back and start all over - meaning I make no changes, just click through because I have done the first three tasks correctly.

Task 4 is: Next, target the CLASS 'main-heading'. Give the heading a font-size property and set the value to 72px.

What am I missing? Thanks for the help!

Hi Barbara, you need to give main-header the background color, not main-heading.

It appears that your css and html are correct for part four, but you're lacking the 'main-header' class that you should have created during part one, and there should be css for that class to change the font to orange. Just to be clear, 'main-header' and 'main-heading' are different classes, header goes with the <header> tag, heading goes with the <h1> tag. 'main-heading' does not need the background color changed to orange either. I think you've probably mixed the two up.
