Please how can I fix my script so that 5,6 and 7 are taken out of the string: '1234567890'

negate.py 
import re

string = '1234567890'
good_numbers = re.findall(r'\d[^5-7]', string)

Your regex says: "any-digit followed by anything that isn't a 5, 6, or 7". Try removing the \d so your the regex becomes "anything that isn't a 5, 6, or 7".

It worked by removing \d. re.findall(r'[5,6,7]', string) Thanks!
