21,074 PointsThe %s goes inside the string part of that pritf, and there's no need to put a string inside the parenthesis of the readLine() function it's going to catch whatever the user types when the program is executed. You could do it like this:
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine();
String lastName = console.readLine();
console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);
