for some reason it says i didnt apply the label before the radio buttons

I'm assuming you are doing the code challenge for the section you're currently in. It seems that, along the way, your elements have gotten jumbled around.

The <option> elements are outside of the select. <option> elements always go inside of the <select> elements because these are the options that the select uses.

The radio buttons and the label for "Shirt Size:" should be outside of the select element instead of inside. They do not belong to the select element.

Also, it seems that you have a ton of extra space after "Shirt Size:". Delete the extra space at the end of "Shirt Size:".

You need to move the inputs and the label outside of the select element.
