code not working

i have written the code correct way but it is not working. i cannot understand the problem

Name.java 
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console

public class Name {

public static void main(String[] args) {

Console console = System.console();

String questions = String number; 

String color;

String color = console.readLine("Enter your favorite color: ");

}

Your answer is valid Java, but I don't think it is the correct answer to the challenge. Also, you are assigning the questions variable to be equal to the value of the number variable, but it is not declared.
