Could somebody explain to me the clear() function?

Hi, community

I don't get how to use this function. I'm confused about all of its elements (the os import, the 'cls' thing, etc.). Can someone elaborate on this better?

The "os.system" method lets you run operating system commands from inside the Python program. And "cls" is the command you type to a command prompt in a Windows system to clear the screen. The command to do the same thing on Linux is "clear".
